At KARVANA, we believe mobility is freedom—and everyone deserves to move through life with confidence, comfort, and independence. As the only manufacturer in Singapore and a retailer of premium motorised wheelchairs and mobility scooters, our mission is to help individuals reclaim their independence by providing reliable, innovative, and affordable mobility solutions.
Our journey began when our founder, Jimmy Tan, met with a car accident in 2016 that made him paralysed from the neck down. He could not move independently and he and his family could not afford a motorised wheelchair due to the huge debt accumulated from his medical treatments. Years later, a kind donor gave him a motorised wheelchair that enabled him to move around independently to public places. He found new lease of life from that day onwards.
He saw firsthand how difficult it was for somebody like him to find a reliable and comfortable motorised wheelchair that truly fit their needs. The experience was frustrating—limited options, poor service, and little support. That moment inspired him to build something better.

Delivery
How much is your delivery?
Local delivery is free for all purchases.
Are there any areas that delivery is unavailable?
We do not deliver to restricted areas like army camps and any offshore islands, except Sentosa (additional $30 surcharge). Changi Airport is also unavailable.
When will my order be delivered?
We deliver 7 day a week and we strive to deliver your order within 1 to 3 working days, after the day of your order. Your order will reach you between 10am to 5pm.
Can I choose a specific time or time range?
As deliveries are dependant on trafic conditions, routes, and weather, choosing is unavailable.
What if I need the item to be carried up any staircase / to 2nd storey?
Please Whatsapp us at 8788 3459 a video of the staircase when placing the order as there might be additional charges.
What should I do if I need to change the delivery address or reschedule a new delivery date frame?
Kindly Whatsapp us at 8788 3459 at least 2 working days in advance with your order number and we will do our best to adhere to your request. Kindly note there might be an additional fee applicable if notice to us is given late.
Is international shipping available?
international shipping is available depending on the product. Please check with us prior to the purchase. Warranty Policy
Thank you for choosing KARVANA for your mobility needs. We are committed to providing quality products with reliable after-sales support. Please review our warranty policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities regarding product support.
All our products undergo quality checks before being delivered to you. However, if a manufacturing issue does occur, your product will be covered by a KARVANA carry-in warranty.
Your Product warrants for the specified Warranty Period from the date of original retail purchase against manufacturing defects under normal, non-commercial use.

Scope of Warranty Parts & Labour
Warranty Service Carry-in
Here are some of the important points to take note:
- Covers purchases made in Singapore. International orders are not covered under this warranty.
- Covers only manufacturing defects. Aesthetic issues are not covered under the warranty.
- Does not cover wear and tear components and consumables. The warranty also does not cover damages due to misuse, accidents, modifications, and rain/water damages.
- Carry-in warranty. The transport costs to bring or collect the Product to/from our service center are not covered by the warranty. As such, you are responsible for bringing the Product to our service center for warranty claim.
Warranty Terms & Conditions
All new product categories, as listed below, are covered by the respective warranty period. KARVANA will replace the defective part free of charge, inclusive of labour, exclusive of transportation fees if the defect is deemed as a manufacturing defect and meets the warranty terms and conditions.
All used or refurbished products are not covered under this limited warranty.
This limited warranty is only valid in Singapore, and the Product is not eligible for any international warranty service.
This warranty does not cover international orders (i.e., out of Singapore).
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, the warranty period shall be as stated below. Unless expressly stated on the invoice, the warranty period shall be final and binding.
Warranty Period
- KARVANA wheelchairs: 1 year on frame and components, including battery;
- KARVANA mobility scooters: 1 year on frame and components, including battery;
- Spare or additional batteries: 3 months;
- Repaired components (excluding servicing): 7 days to 1 month;
The Product must not have been misused, inadequately maintained, or incorrectly serviced or maintained. The Product must not have been subject to any modification, alterations, repair, or replacement which may contribute in whole or partial to the defect. The Product must not have been installed with non-original or non-authorised parts, which may contribute in whole or partial to the defect. The warranty does not cover the cost of removal and replacement of non-original components, modifications, or alterations. The warranty does not cover components expected to wear and tear under normal usage, such as tyres, inner tubes, wheel spokes, lights bulbs, chains, sprockets, brake pads, saddle, paint, frame finishing, decals, etc. The warranty does not cover any damages due to accident, rain, or water damage. The warranty does not cover consumable items or accessories, even if packaged or sold with the Product. Should a warranty claim be deemed valid, you shall transport the Product to and from our service center at your expense. KARVANA shall not be liable for any costs associated with the loss of use, time, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages. To avoid doubt, minor imperfections within design specifications that do not materially alter the Product’s functionality are not considered a defect under this warranty. The warranty is not transferable. Repair or replacement may involve using functionally equivalent refurbished or reconditioned products or parts. Any replaced product or part, or fully refunded Product, shall become the absolute property of KARVANA and must be returned to KARVANA.
Limitations and Exclusions
Notwithstanding that the Product is within the Warranty Period, the warranty shall be invalidated and rendered void upon the following:
- The Product serial number or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or illegible; or
- The registration mark, or UL2272 identification label has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or illegible; or
- Critical components are modified or replaced with non-original or non-compatible parts; or
- The Product does not comply with Singapore regulations.
This warranty does not cover and is not limited to:
- Missing accessories or external parts of the Product, unless such claim is made within 2 days from the delivery date;
- Aesthetic / Cosmetic damage to outer surface/finishing and external parts of the Product, including without limitation scratches, color non-uniformity;
- Deterioration of the Product due to normal wear and tear, including, without limitation, rust or stains.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the warranty expressly provided herein is the sole and exclusive warranty provided in connection with the Product, and no other warranties, representations, endorsements, or conditions of any kind, whether oral, written, express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties against manufacturing, are provided. In so far as any warranties cannot be excluded, such warranties shall be limited to the terms of this warranty and for the Warranty Period expressed herein.
Items Left in the Product
You are responsible for removing any accessories or personal belongings on the Product before handing in the Product for warranty claim or servicing. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or destruction to any such accessories or personal belongings which are not removed.
Obtaining Warranty Service
By claiming this warranty, you agree to waive any claim(s) for compensation, monetary or otherwise, which you may be entitled to in respect of the Product other than that provided under this warranty, if any. If you consider that the Product has a manufacturing defect, you must notify KARVANA of the alleged defects within 7 calendar days of discovery. KARVANA will evaluate the Product upon sight of valid supporting documents (i.e., invoice, receipt, or delivery order) to determine the claim validity. If a claim is valid, KARVANA shall repair the Product within a reasonable time.
